Dateline Cleveland: “The shooting Nov. 29 came at the end of a 25-minute police chase that zigzagged through Cleveland and ended in a middle school parking lot in East Cleveland. Officers fired 137 shots at the 1979 Chevrolet Malibu SS that was fleeing from them.
During the pursuit, officers believed they were being shot at and, at one point, they reported that the car had rammed a police car. Officials have said that Timothy Russell, 43, and Malissa Williams, 30, may have been unarmed as no gun or shell casings were found in the car.
Results from gunshot residue tests from the car and the bodies have not been released publicly…”
